It all started with a mixtape and music video show while visiting family as a teenager in Queens, New York. The love affair with music, however, commenced much early where Keith grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina hearing Stevie Wonder, Lou Rawls, Ray Charles and various soul and jazz from the family record collection played on the wood cabinet stereo. It also happened while passively absorbing Earth Wind & Fire, Steely Dan, The Doobie Brothers, Marvin Gaye, Patrice Rushen and others on the radio. But the mixtape and music video brought those two worlds together creating the desire to be a dj. That was about 15 years ago and though Keith first experienced djing opportunities mainly in the rave and alternative music scene, he still held onto the deeper side of house music. This versatility eventually spawned a greater interest in sounds from all over, starting with Cuba, then Brazil, Afro rhtyhms, Arabic and the list goes on.

These experiences brought to life many residencies and parties in Raleigh, Chapel Hill and Durham, North Carolina as well as gigs in Ibiza and in New York City at Cielo for the Turntables on the Hudson party. Today Keith holds two residencies in Raleigh, NC, the Red Room and Mosaic Wine Lounge. The Red Room hosts Keith’s eclectic, downtempo and lounge flavors while Mosaic Wine Lounge has been an almost 5 year foray into the blend of international rhythms and House music. As resident DJ and event planner at Mosaic Wine Lounge, Keith has organized the Mosaic Spring and Fall Music Fests as well as Mosaic Miami parties featured during the Winter Music Conference in Miami, Florida. In addition, he has been fortunate to have djed with several influential djs and producers such as Nickodemus, Julius the Mad Thinker, Mariano, Sabo, Chuck Love, MasterKev, Abicah Soul, Simbad, Boddhi Satva, Souldub Quartet, Julie McKnight, Terry Hunter, Jask, Halo and more.
